24-25 May, Istanbul: The Fifth International Parliamentarians' Conference on the Implementation of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development

On 24th and 25th May 2012 over 300 Members of Parliaments from around the world will gather in Istanbul for the Fifth International Parliamentarians’ Conference on the Implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action. At the event MPs from across six continents will discuss the progress the world’s governments are making in their efforts to protect and empower women in their reproductive health and rights: a promise they made at the International Conference on Population and Development in 1994 in Cairo.

Youth Friendly Sexual and Reproductive Health Services in Georgia

GORI, Georgia - UNFPA has helped this Youth-Friendly Reproductive Health Centre develop an integrated approach to youth-friendly sexual and reproductive health services. The centre's model has won recognition from the World Health Organization and has been adopted at a network of similar centres throughout Georgia.
